Railey Macke crowned 2025 Carrollton High homecoming queen
CHS senior honored during Sept. 26 ceremony as Warriors celebrated homecoming win over Marlington
Homecoming 2025 at Carrollton High School will be memorable for the homecoming queen, her court and the many spectators who attended the Sept. 26 crowning and football game in which the Warriors returned a 24-7 win over Marlington with the temperature ranging in the high 70s.
Railey Macke, daughter of Adam and Wendy Macke of Autumn Road, Carrollton, was crowned the school’s homecoming queen during a pregame ceremony prior to the 7 p.m. game.
The new queen was crowned by last year’s reigning royalty, Kaelyn Stewart, and received an autographed football from Duval Citro, flowers provided by the Carrollton Suburban Garden Club from Chelse Pesta, and a trophy from Kami Shaw.
Macke is active in numerous activities at CHS, including the band and choir, Youth to Youth, National Honor Society, track and field team and CHS drama department, where she has been involved in multiple productions. Upon graduation, Railey plans to attend The Ohio State University and major in biology.
Members of the 2025 homecoming court were Lily Marteney, daughter of Jason and Tara Marteney; Isabella Nuzzolillo, daughter of Alzana and Ron Nuzzolillo; Emma Shafer, daughter of Stephanie Roudebush and Darrell Shafer; and Haley Thomas, daughter of Melanie and Shane Thomas.
The queen also reigned at a homecoming dance held Saturday evening in the high school gym, where the theme was “Sunset Stampede.”
