Comedian Dennis Regan to headline at Minerva’s Roxy Theatre Nov. 15
Veteran stand-up and late-night TV favorite brings decades of clean, relatable comedy to downtown Minerva for a one-night-only show presented by Krackpots Comedy Club.
Minerva’s Roxy Theatre and Krackpots Comedy Club of Massillon will present nationally touring comedian Dennis Regan for one night only at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15.
Regan has been performing comedy for more than 20 years, taking the stage for his first open-mic night at Coconuts Comedy Club in North Miami in 1987. The following year, he moved to New York City, where he began performing late-night shows and eventually earned a spot in the main lineup at top clubs including The Improv, The Comic Strip, The Comedy Cellar, Catch a Rising Star and Dangerfield’s.
Regan has appeared multiple times on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” as well as on Showtime and Comedy Central. He has headlined major comedy clubs across the United States, performing in all 50 states, as well as in China and Ireland.
Tickets are general admission, with a limited number of front-row and VIP seats available. They can be purchased online at krackpotscomedy.com.
Downtown Minerva restaurants will be open throughout the evening, and concessions will be available at the theater. The village’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area will be in effect from 5 to 10 p.m. Patrons may purchase beverages in official DORA cups from the Normandy Inn, Stoney Inn, Que Pasa Mexican Restaurant and Sandy Springs Brewing Company, and carry them throughout the designated area, including into the Roxy. No outside beverages are permitted in the theater.
