Carroll County Chamber launches Shop Small trail for local businesses
Nov. 24–30 event encourages shoppers to visit participating stores and complete passports for prize drawings
The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau is inviting local businesses to take part in a countywide shopping trail during the upcoming Shop Small season.
The event will run Nov. 24–30, encouraging shoppers to visit participating businesses listed on a special passport. Shoppers who visit a majority of the locations and return their completed passports to the Chamber/CVB office by Dec. 1 will be entered into a drawing for giveaway baskets. Winners will be announced Dec. 2.
Businesses wishing to participate must sign up by Friday, Nov. 14, to be included on the passport. Each participating business is asked to donate an item valued between $10 and $20 for inclusion in the giveaway baskets. A Shop Small stamp will be provided to mark shoppers’ passports, said Chamber Director Chelsa Slutz.
To register, call the Chamber office at 330-627-4811, ext. 2, or email office@carrollcountyohio.com. Businesses may also sign up in person at the Chamber office, 30 Public Square in downtown Carrollton, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
