Cantata tradition set at Mount Pleasant Church
Mount Pleasant Methodist continues its annual Christmas celebration with an interactive, intergenerational worship service titled Sing Noel – Our Savior Is Born
Mount Pleasant Methodist Church on Canyon Road in Carrollton is carrying on its tradition of presenting a cantata before Christmas, a long-standing part of the congregation’s holiday observance.
This year’s cantata is an interactive, intergenerational worship service titled Sing Noel – Our Savior Is Born, designed to bring meaning and joy to the season. The program encourages participation from people of all ages and focuses on celebrating the birth of Christ through music and Scripture.
The annual presentation serves as a way for the congregation and community to prepare spiritually for Christmas and come together in fellowship.
The service will be held Sunday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m., and all are welcome to attend.
