Tuscarawas Arts Partnership to host steampunk-themed art gala
The Ticking Hour brings together artists, collectors and supporters for a night where art, atmosphere and community converge
Gears will turn, creativity will spark and time itself will become the inspiration when Tuscarawas Arts Partnership presents The Ticking Hour: A Steampunk Affair, an immersive art gala fundraiser Saturday, April 18, from 6-9 p.m. at My Museum Proscenium.
Set inside the My Museum Proscenium, a former school building transformed into an arts and cultural venue, the event will invite guests to step into a world inspired by the aesthetics of steampunk and industrial design. The evening will feature a curated exhibit of artwork by local artists, live painting by Jessica Haney, specialty cocktails and mocktails, small bites, art for purchase and raffle prizes.
The setting itself is part of the experience.
My Museum Proscenium has become one of the region’s unique creative spaces, a place where history, community and imagination intersect. TAP’s gala will transform the venue into an immersive environment celebrating craftsmanship, invention and the creative spirit.
“This event is about celebrating the incredible creativity that exists in Tuscarawas County,” said Wilma Mullet, executive director of Tuscarawas Arts Partnership. “When you bring artists, patrons and community members together in a space like My Museum Proscenium, something special happens. It’s an opportunity to experience art in a completely different way.”
Proceeds from The Ticking Hour will support TAP’s mission to cultivate, promote and sustain the arts in Tuscarawas County, helping expand programs, workshops and opportunities that connect artists and audiences throughout the region.
The Ticking Hour brings together artists, collectors and supporters for a night where art, atmosphere and community converge. Guests are encouraged to embrace the steampunk theme or simply come ready to experience an evening celebrating creativity and craftsmanship.
Tickets and event details are available at givebutter.com/TAPgala26 or tuscarawasartspartnership.org.
