Ohio’s Hospice fundraiser in Malvern raises more than $42,000
More than 175 attendees took part in the event, supporting celebrity servers while helping raise $42,175

The Carroll County community came together March 21 to raise funds for nonprofit hospice care during Ohio’s Hospice Spring Spectacular Treasures of Time at Good Shepherd Hall in Malvern.
According to Ohio’s Hospice, more than 175 attendees took part in the event, supporting celebrity servers while helping raise $42,175.
“The Carroll County community came together to raise funds for nonprofit hospice care at Ohio’s Hospice, which exemplifies their love for their community,” said Mona Sayre of Ohio’s Hospice. “Over 175 attendees supported their celebrity servers and had a lot of fun all the while raising funds. It is always a privilege to do an event in Carroll County because of the community spirit they show.”
The top three celebrity servers were Allan Furze, who raised $30,087; Matt Kishman, who raised $4,651; and Gary Chaddock, who raised $1,981.
Additional celebrity servers were John Weyand, Danielle Hawk, Tom James, Brad Eick, Jannai and Bethany Shields, Mark Scott, Katie DeLane, and Rick and Holly Morgan.
Committee members for the event were Adam Weyandt, Gary Smith, John and Belinda Mach, Melanie Campbell, Newell Realty Auctions, Rob and Cheri Miller, Randy and Liz Smith, Pixie Furbee, Adrianne Veatch and Mona Sayre.
