At the Aug. 20 meeting of the Conotton Valley Board of Education,
Superintendent John Zucal addressed the board regarding the recent court ruling
on the Rover Pipeline LLC judgment.
Zucal said the Aug. 13 decision upheld the real value of taxable property and rejected the report proposed by Rover’s appraiser. He told the board he received a congratulatory message from Sen. Al Landis, R-Dover, recognizing the district’s leadership.
“Although this effort required a great deal of time, effort and energy by Denise (Ketchum) and myself, the outcome was well worth it,” Zucal said, adding that he would keep the board informed as the case moves into the settlement phase.
