Isabella Higgins signs with Kent State Tuscarawas
She will join the Golden Eagles women’s basketball team and plans to major in psychology
Conotton Valley senior Isabella Higgins, daughter of Angel Wilson and Pat Higgins, signed with Kent State Tuscarawas, where she will continue her academic and athletic career this fall. She will join the Golden Eagles women’s basketball team and plans to major in psychology.
A four-year letter winner for the Rockets in basketball, Higgins is a two-time first-team Inter-Valley Conference selection, a two-time second-team IVC selection, a two-time District 5 first-team selection, a District 5 second-team selection and an All-Ohio honorable mention selection. She will play in the District 5 East-West all-star game.
Higgins is a three-year letter winner in volleyball and a member of the Rocket softball team. At Buckeye Career Center, she has participated in the HOSA program and was a second-place state qualifier in 2024-25 and a third-place state qualifier as a senior. She has also been in the Drug Free Club program for two years, participated in youth-to-youth and has played on the AAU circuit for the past three years.
“We here at Conotton Valley look forward to following Bella’s career at Kent State Tuscarawas as she competes at a high level on the basketball court and works toward her degree in psychology. She has been an integral part of the CV girls basketball program over the past four years competing for the Rockets,” said Athletic Director Ed Marsh.
