Carrollton Concert Band set for OMEA District 8 adjudicated event

The Carrollton High School Concert Band will participate in the Ohio Music Education Association District 8 adjudicated event Friday, March 6, at Hoover High School in North Canton.
The CHS band, under the direction of Dave Dickerhoof, is scheduled to perform at 9:25 p.m. in the Hoover Hall of Performing Arts in Class C. Performance numbers include “The Washington Post” march by John Philip Sousa, the required Class C selection “Pale Blue Dot” by James David, and “Angelic Celebrations” by Randall Standridge as the band’s selected number.
The band will be rated by three adjudicators, along with a sight-reading judge.
The event is free and open to the public, but no recordings are permitted. Hoover High School is located at 525 Seventh St. NE, North Canton.
