Carroll Fair Board now has 14 members
Various contracts were approved for the 2026 fair, which will be held July 21-26
Three new members have been appointed to the Carroll County Agricultural Society, filling all 14 seats on the fair board.
At the Feb. 17 meeting, the board appointed Mike Kruprzak, Wendy Davis and Deanna Tiller to the three open seats representing East, Monroe and Rose townships.
In other business, various contracts were approved for the 2026 fair, which will be held July 21-26. Approved contracts included Laser Leveling for tractor pulls and Track Boss for Monday, Thursday and Friday pulls.
Photo Finish Photography was awarded the contract for harness racing, while Mod Rod Pullers and the Demo Derby were approved and scheduled for Sunday of the fair.
It was reported Reid Rummell, Bailee Nolder, Melissa Schaar, Mary Piatt and Wes Frew will attend the District 7 and 8 spring meeting April 11 at the Muskingum County Fairgrounds in Zanesville.
Those attending the 2026 Ohio Fair Managers Association convention in Columbus in January included Rummell, Brandi Simmons, Emily Ott, Heather Casper, Jim Long, Jessica Ujcich, Frew, Piatt and Schaar.
Regular board meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the secretary’s office under the grandstand.
