It’s time to pick your choices for new terms of candidates for village councils, boards of education, and township trustees.

Carroll County’s 23 voting precincts will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, for registered voters to cast their ballots.

At the polls, voters will need to present one of the following proper forms of ID:

A current Ohio driver’s license, state of Ohio ID card, U.S. passport, U.S. military ID or U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs photo ID.

Upon showing proper ID and answering a few questions about your residential address, poll workers will assist you through the rest of the voting process.

Results of the Nov. 4 election will be posted on the board of elections website at www.boe.ohio.gov/carroll, according to Deloris Kean, director of elections.

Early voting

Registered voters can still cast early absentee ballots until Nov. 4, either in person at the board of elections, located on the ground level of the Carroll County Courthouse, or by mailing them postmarked by Nov. 3. Ballots also may be placed in a drop box at the Second Street SE entrance to the courthouse.

Remaining early voting dates and hours at the board of elections are Oct. 31 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Weekend hours will be Saturday, Nov. 1, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 2, from 1 to 5 p.m., the last day to early vote.
