The Empower Youth Team at Carrolton High School will hold a hygiene drive from through Feb. 20, collecting personal care items for those in need.

Requested donations include deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, loofahs, bar soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste and travel-size mouthwash. Additional items needed are feminine hygiene products, baby or body wipes, combs or brushes, laundry baskets, lip balm, lotion and socks.

The drive is organized by the Empower Youth Team and is open to community participation. Bins will be provided at the main door of the school.

Mission 22 walk raises awareness for veteran suicide prevention

The event focused on raising awareness for veteran suicide and supporting mental health resources for service members and their families
