Boy Scout troop’s ham dinner set for Feb. 16
Proceeds from the silent auction help fund camps and fees
Carrollton Boy Scout Troop 141 will hold its annual ham dinner and silent auction Presidents Day, Feb. 16, with serving from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Carrollton High School cafeteria, 205 Scio Road SE.
Scout officials said this will be the first time the dinner is being held at the new school. The event was previously held at the former school on Third Street.
The meal will include ham, scalloped potatoes, corn, applesauce, bread, drinks, assorted cakes and lime green Jell-O salad. The dinner is served family-style at each table.
Proceeds from the silent auction help fund camps and fees. Upcoming trips include a spring camp at Niagara Falls. Troop 141 also camps monthly throughout the year, with visits including Seven Ranges, Camp Pee Wee, Tuscazoar and Camp Fort Steuben.
Tickets are $15 for ages 13 and older and $10 for ages 4-12. Children 3 and under eat free. Takeout is available, and walk-ins are welcome. For more information, call Mark at 330-461-8348.
