Ohio Local History Alliance Region 5 meeting set in Cadiz

The host is the Harrison Coal & Reclamation Historical Park

The Ohio Local History Alliance will hold its Region 5 meeting Saturday, March 21, in Cadiz. Registration is due by Friday, March 13.

Region 5 includes Carroll, Columbiana, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, Stark, Tuscarawas and Wayne counties. The host is the Harrison Coal & Reclamation Historical Park.

The meeting will begin at Puskarich Public Library, 200 E. Market St., Cadiz, and will be held in the library’s lower level in the Harrison County History of Coal Museum. Organizers said parking is available around the building, and spaces at the back or side provide more direct access to the lower-level entrances and meeting area.

— The Digital Shoebox Project and Digitization Considerations with Susan Guthrie, Puskarich Public Library

— Introduction to Canva: Free Online Design Tool with Karli Ray, Puskarich Public Library, and Taylur Cunningham, Dennison Railroad Depot Museum Systems

2:45 p.m. Travel to and tour of the Harrison Coal & Reclamation Historical Park

The meeting will end at the conclusion of the tour, no later than 4 p.m.
