Local author Cathy Baker will appear Saturday, Feb. 21, at the Carroll County District Library.

Baker, daughter of Travis and Heather Weyand, will have books available for sale from 10 a.m. to noon in the library’s conference room.

“Morrow” is Baker’s second novel. Her first novel, “Wrenville,” was published in 2023.

In “Morrow,” Marilyn and Tori spend the summer with the Morrow family while writing the family’s history. During their stay, they uncover a troubling secret. The suspense novel follows what happens next — and whether they survive the internship.
