Mike and Kerri Lambert, owners of Century Farms, have built their wedding venue around a simple goal: making the planning process easier and the wedding day less stressful for couples.
“We were on the other end of how hard and stressful the process can be,” said Kerri Lambert. “Every chance in every way that we can make it easier, more fun and more of an enjoyable experience, we do it.”

Lambert said her connection to Century Farms began years before ownership. She started working at the property in April 2017 and became general manager by October that year. The couple was married at the venue in 2018, and they officially took over ownership Jan. 1, 2022.
The centerpiece of the venue is the restored barn, originally built in the 1930s and updated with modern amenities such as heating, air conditioning and a polished interior designed for weddings and events.
“You’re not going to find original barns like ours built in the 1930s that are heated, insulated, air conditioned and polished,” Lambert said.

Century Farms continues to attract couples from across Ohio and neighboring states, as well as from farther away. Lambert said couples have traveled from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Texas, California and North Carolina, with most discovering the venue through online searches, vendor referrals or word of mouth.
The property also includes two on-site villas for lodging, each with five rooms, for a total of 10 rooms. Lambert said on-site lodging remains one of the venue’s biggest advantages, especially for wedding parties traveling from out of town.
“Our couples love it,” she said. “It’s one of the things that really sets us apart, especially in this area.”

The villas are available for weddings, and also for individual bookings when events are not taking place, and can now be reserved directly through the Century Farms website.
“We’d rather own our website and own our terms,” Lambert said.
In recent years, Century Farms has adjusted its wedding packages to offer more flexibility. While full weekend weddings remain an option, one-day packages and Thursday or Friday weddings have become increasingly popular.
“The one days have really become popular,” Lambert said.
To help with budgeting, the venue offers payment plans that allow couples to make scheduled payments leading up to their wedding date.
“Every other month you have a payment due leading up to the wedding day,” she said. “It just makes it easier to budget and plan.”
Another feature designed to reduce stress is a decor room stocked with items couples can use to style their wedding. Couples who book on the day of their initial tour can access the decor room at no additional cost.
“I’ve got a room here in the barn that is packed with decor,” Lambert said. “You can decorate your entire wedding with what’s in there, depending on your colors and your style.”
Century Farms also maintains a vendor list of businesses the venue has previously worked with, allowing couples to choose from trusted professionals familiar with the property.
“We only put vendors on there that we have worked with,” Lambert said. “That’s important to us.”
While weddings remain the primary focus, Century Farms has also expanded its offerings with the addition of The Bar-N at Century Farms, an on-site bar open to the public that closes for private weddings.
“Weddings pay the mortgage. The bar keeps the lights on,” Lambert said.
Lambert said the liquor license allows the venue to offer a wider range of bar options for weddings while also helping support year-round operations.
Century Farms continues to host weddings alongside select public events and community gatherings, including the Great Camelot Renaissance Fair, which returns this summer.
Century Farms is located at 1121 Canton Road, Carrollton. Couples interested in booking a tour or learning more about wedding packages can find information and schedule visits at www.centuryfarmsohio.com.
