Zimmerman Foundation awards grant to Rainbow Connection
The Rainbow Connection provides services and financial assistance for disadvantaged and disabled clients
The Blair & Anna Zimmerman Foundation awarded $19,113 to the Tuscarawas Society for Children and Adults Inc., also known as the Rainbow Connection.
The grant will be used to purchase new furniture for the Rainbow Connection facility in New Philadelphia. New seating and tables that meet ADA standards will be added to the reception area and other offices used by clients and staff. The Rainbow Connection provides services and financial assistance for disadvantaged and disabled clients in Tuscarawas County.
The Zimmerman Foundation was established by the late Blair E. and Anna L. Zimmerman to provide charitable assistance for capital expenses to qualified tax-exempt organizations in Tuscarawas County. The foundation will review grant requests again in July.
Grant applications must be received no later than 4 p.m. Monday, June 1, at Zimmerman Foundation, c/o Huntington Bank, 4481 Munson Ave. NW, Suite 200, Canton, OH 44718.
