Tuscarawas library to offer technology classes

The programs are designed to help residents learn key skills and explore creative tools.

The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will offer a variety of technology classes in September at the Main Library and Operations Center. The programs are designed to help residents learn key skills and explore creative tools.

“Many people in our community want to feel more confident using everyday tools like email and smartphones, and they’re also excited to explore new creative skills in our MakerSpace,” said Leigh Burnham, technology training coordinator. “These classes give them the support they need to stay connected, learn something new, and build their confidence.”

This September’s lineup includes:

— Email Basics: Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. Learn how to send emails, attach files, delete and move emails, and organize messages.

— Sublimation 101: Sept. 16 at noon or 6 p.m. Learn the step-by-step process of using the sublimation printer and heat press in the MakerSpace, and complete a guided project.

— iOS Basics: Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. Learn the basics of your Apple device, explore apps and get tips to get the most out of it.

— Android Basics: Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. Learn the basics of your Android device, explore apps and get helpful tips and tricks.
