Tuscarawas County Board of Health accepting applications
Board members are appointed by the Tuscarawas County District Advisory Council
The Tuscarawas County Board of Health is seeking community members interested in helping guide public health efforts in Tuscarawas County. Applicants must live in Tuscarawas County but outside the New Philadelphia city limits. Preference will be given to candidates who live in the northern portion of the county in an effort to have representation from across the county.
The board meets the third Wednesday of each month at 3:15 p.m. at the Tuscarawas County Health Department, 897 E. Iron Ave., Dover. Committees meet at 2 p.m. immediately before the regularly scheduled monthly meetings.
Board members are appointed by the Tuscarawas County District Advisory Council. The council will appoint a new member to a five-year term at its annual meeting March 10, with responsibilities beginning April 15. The position is compensated.
