Tuscarawas Bar Association names 2026 scholarship recipients

The awards recognize outstanding students pursuing studies in criminology, justice studies, psychology and related fields

This year’s scholarship recipients are Cassidee Collins, Isaiah Johnstone, Angel Morrow and Sage Debois Winnie.

The Tuscarawas County Bar Association, in partnership with Kent State University at Tuscarawas, has announced the recipients of the 2026 Tuscarawas County Bar Association Scholarships. The awards recognize outstanding students pursuing studies in criminology, justice studies, psychology and related fields who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership and a commitment to serving their communities.

This year’s scholarship recipients are Cassidee Collins, Isaiah Johnstone, Angel Morrow and Sage Debois Winnie.

Cassidee Collins is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in criminology and justice studies. She has distinguished herself through academic dedication and a strong interest in understanding the systems that shape law and justice. She plans to use her education to help strengthen fairness and accountability within the justice system.

Isaiah Johnstone is completing dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in criminology and psychology. His focus on both human behavior and justice reflects a commitment to understanding the factors that influence crime and community well-being. His academic work demonstrates intellectual rigor and a strong sense of responsibility toward others.

Angel Morrow is also pursuing dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in criminology and psychology. Her academic excellence and interest in mental health, rehabilitation and the legal system position her to contribute to evidence-based approaches within the justice field.

Sage Debois Winnie is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in criminology and justice studies. She is recognized for strong academic performance and a thoughtful commitment to public service. She aims to contribute to improving justice processes and community safety.

“We are honored to recognize these exceptional students,” Cassidy Wahlie of Fitzpatrick, Zimmer and Rose LPA and the Tuscarawas County Bar Association said. “Their dedication to the fields of law, psychology and justice will serve our communities for years to come.”
