Snyder appointed to fill vacancy on Fairless school board
Snyder was appointed to fill an unexpired term and will serve until the term ends Dec. 31, 2027
Charlie Snyder was appointed to the Fairless Board of Education during a special meeting Jan. 20.
Snyder was appointed to fill an unexpired term and will serve until the term ends Dec. 31, 2027, according to Superintendent Mike Hearn.
Snyder was first elected to the board in November 2011 and was reelected three times, serving through Dec. 31, 2025. He and his wife, Rhonda, have three adult children, all graduates of Fairless Local School District, and three grandchildren.
“The board of education is very grateful to have someone of Charlie’s knowledge and experience willing to fulfill this opening,” Hearn said.
The next board meeting is Feb. 17 at 6:15 p.m. at Fairless High School, 800 Seventh St. SE, Brewster.
