Local author Whitney Kneffler plans Dec. 6 book signing at The Daily Grind
Writer of sci-fi fantasy novel ‘The Angel of Death’ to meet readers in New Philadelphia and share sequel pre-order details
Local author Whitney Kneffler, who writes under the pen name April E. Horst, will host a book signing and sale for her debut novel, “The Angel of Death,” from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, at The Daily Grind, 153 W. High Ave., New Philadelphia.
Kneffler, a New Philadelphia High School graduate, earned her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree from Bath Spa University in England.
Her science fiction and fantasy novel follows Thea, an infamous soldier invited to a supposed refuge world cut off from the rest of a harsh multiverse. Once there, Thea discovers that the sanctuary may not be what it seems and begins to uncover the dark secrets beneath its surface.
Kneffler also plans to announce pre-order details for the sequel, “The Hounds of Hell,” at the signing event.
Copies of “The Angel of Death” will be available for purchase, with early arrivals encouraged as supplies are limited.
