Dover library to host author Patty Albrecht

The Dover Public Library will welcome local author Patricia M. Albrecht for a program titled “Writing from the Heart” on Monday, Sept. 15, at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s community room.

Albrecht will share her writing journey, read excerpts from her books and discuss upcoming projects. A book signing will follow the program.

Albrecht said her greatest joys in life are God, family and friends, and writing. She enjoys making others laugh, attending social gatherings and spending time in nature. She previously lived in New Philadelphia for more than three decades and now resides in Menomonie, Wisconsin, where she writes within sight of the 135-foot UW-Stout Clock Tower.

Her published works include “Three Tiny Houses (That Weren’t),” “Thoughts From an Old Lady,” “On Widow Time,” “Maneuvering the Madness,” “Daily Drives With My Father” (three volumes), and “Maria’s Journey.”

The free program will be held at the library, 525 N. Walnut St., Dover. Registration is available online at doverlibrary.org/events or by calling 330-343-6123.
