Bookmobile to make fall community stops
The Tuscarawas County Public Library System’s Bookmobile will continue making community stops this fall in addition to its regular visits to area schools and nursing homes.
“Community stops is an excellent way for us to bring the library to customers in the more rural areas of our service district,” said Emmie Troyer, mobile services supervisor. “Those who visit the bookmobile can sign up for a library card, use the library’s Wi-Fi, and check out books, DVDs, games and more.”
Fall schedule highlights include:
— Mondays: Warren Township Community Center (Mineral City), 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Sandy Valley Estates (Magnolia), 12:45 to 1:30 p.m.; and Baltic Community Park, 3-5 p.m.
— Tuesdays: Dundee Ballfield, 10 a.m. to noon.
— Wednesdays: Grace Community Church (Stone Creek), 4-5 p.m.; Port Washington Farmers Market, 5-8 p.m.; and Tuscarawas Valley Farmers Market (Dover), 3-7 p.m.
— Thursdays: Roswell General Store (New Philadelphia), 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Stops will run through Dec. 30, with specific dates available at tusclibrary.org or by calling 330-364-4474, ext. 250.
