Two injured in Franklin Township crash
Andrew Myers cited after rear-ending Deven Eibel on County Road 275
On March 5 at approximately 6:43 a.m., the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call in reference to an injury accident in the area of County Road 275 and state Route 83 in Franklin Township.
Upon arrival of deputies, it was determined 25-year-old male Andrew Myers of Marietta was traveling southwest on County Road 275. Myers failed to maintain assured clear distance and rear-ended another vehicle traveling southwest on County Road 275, operated by 28-year-old male Deven Eibel of Pleasant City.
Eibel had one passenger in his vehicle, 53-year-old male Garey Eibel, also of Pleasant City. Deven Eibel was treated and released on scene by Coshocton County EMS. Garey Eibel was transported to Coshocton Regional Medical Center by Coshocton County EMS for nonlife-threatening injuries. Myers was cited for assured clear distance.
Assisting at the scene was Coshocton County EMS, Franklin Conesville Virginia VFD and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
