Nights on North Market to Bring Music, Art, Food and Shopping to Downtown Minerva Oct. 10
The community event will feature live bands, local vendors, extended shop hours and DORA beverages in the village center.
Downtown Minerva will host Nights on North Market Friday, Oct. 10, with live music, art, food, drinks and shopping.
The Market Street Art Spot will hold a reception from 5-9 p.m., featuring the work of Anne Richeson Scanlon, live music by One String Short, and light refreshments.
West High Street, between North Market and Main streets, will be transformed into a popup pocket park for the evening. Grandma’s Favorite Grandson will perform alternative rock and punk from 6-9 p.m. The area will also feature a bounce house, games, crafters, vendors, local organizations and more.
Shops staying open in and around downtown include Art on 30 Gallery & Gift Shop, Witchy Ways, Chic Haven Boutique, Sassy Rose Boutique and the Minerva Area Historical Society’s Haas Museum, which will be open from 6 to 8 p.m.
Walker’s Café, The Clever Cookie & Creamery and The Komfort Zone will be open late, along with Minerva’s other downtown restaurants. Food vendors on High Street will include The Dudley G’s Pizza Truck, 330 Popcorn Co. and Pretty in Fizz.
The village’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area will be in effect from 4-10 p.m. DORA beverages may be purchased at Sandy Springs Brewing Company, Que Pasa Mexican Restaurant, Stoney Inn and the Normandy Inn and carried throughout the downtown area.
