Minerva Lions Marching Band to host Glow Show Sept. 20
Evening performance at Minerva High School stadium features bands from Malvern, East Canton and South Local; admission $5.
The Minerva High School Lions Marching Band will host a Glow Show at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, featuring four area high school bands.
In addition to the host band, performances will be given by the Malvern, East Canton and South Local high school bands. Admission is $5.
Unlike traditional band shows, the lights are turned out in the stadium, and it must be dark for a Glow Show, according to Minerva Head Band Director Derrick Maxey.
Music to be performed by the Minerva band includes “Music from Trolls,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” “Rock You Like a Hurricane,” “Better Place,” “They Don’t Know,” “September” and the Minerva High School fight song.
