Carrollton Schools set to hire new treasurer
Conotton Valley’s longtime treasurer Denise Ketchum recommended to fill Carrollton Exempted Village School District vacancy.
A new treasurer has been recommended for the treasurer position of the Carrollton Exempted Village School District.
According to Carrollton Schools Superintendent David Davis, the selection committee has recommended that the Board of Education hire Denise Ketchum as its new treasurer at the Nov. 4 BOE meeting.
Ketchum’s resignation as treasurer of the Conotton Valley Union Local School District was accepted at the Oct. 23 meeting of the Conotton Valley School Board.
She has been Conotton Valley’s treasurer for more than eight years and succeeds Amy Spears, who resigned and is serving an 18-month prison sentence after being convicted of theft in office.
