Strasburg Lions Club to host car show
Proceeds from the event will benefit student scholarships and community improvement projects
The Strasburg Lions Club will host a car show from noon to 3 p.m. June 27 in the parking lot at ProVia, 10190 state Route 21, Strasburg.
Proceeds from the event will benefit student scholarships and community improvement projects.
Registration for participants will be from 10 a.m. to noon. The entry fee is $10. Dash plaques will be awarded to the first 100 vehicles entered.
Awards will be presented in 10 categories, along with the Walt Stockert Memorial Trophy and the President's Choice award.
Participants will park in the west parking lot at ProVia and may enter from state Route 21 or state Route 250. Spectators will be directed to designated parking areas.
The event will feature a 50/50 drawing and door prizes, including gift cards from Cross Caffe and 15 BellStores gas cards valued at $25 each. There is no rain date.
Music will be provided by disc jockey Spikeman, sponsored by Willis Group Realty. The Lions Club will operate a food stand. Soft drinks, lemonade, water and Miller's Creamery ice cream also will be available.
Sponsors include ProVia, BellStores, Cross Caffe, Unified Bank, Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes, Willis Group Realty, Wolfe's Lawn & Landscaping, Miller Portables and the Strasburg Lions Club.
The public is invited to attend.
