Committee plans public event on New Philadelphia school levy
The event is open to anyone who wants to learn more
The committee for New Philadelphia Schools, Yes, for NP, will host an open and informative evening focused on the upcoming school levy, taxes and the future of the district March 24 at 6 p.m.
Attendees will hear from educators, staff, parents, alumni and community members as they share their experiences with New Philadelphia Schools and their hopes for what comes next.
The event is open to anyone who wants to learn more. Organizers said attendees do not have to be fully supportive to attend, but should be willing to listen, ask questions and learn about where the district is today and the opportunities ahead.
To make the evening welcoming for everyone, a children’s activity table will be available, snacks and refreshments will be provided, and a raffle also will be held during the event.
The event will be held at 1260 Monroe St. NW, New Philadelphia. It is expected to last 90 minutes.
