Community members, prospective students and alumni are invited to explore Buckeye Career Center during its annual Spring Open House Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at BCC in New Philadelphia.

The event will showcase both high school and adult education programs, giving visitors the chance to tour the campus, meet instructors and learn more about the available career pathways.

Buckeye Career Center currently offers 35 high school programs and 10 full-time adult education programs, along with part-time career enhancement courses, the Adult Diploma Program and CDL opportunities.

“We’ve found that the spring open house is a great opportunity for high school students to take another look at Buckeye Career Center and the programs we offer,” said Marketing Coordinator Shyanne Carroll. “Applications for the following school year are often strongest in the fall after sophomore visitation days, so this event gives students who haven’t applied yet another chance to explore their options. We also encourage adult learners to stop by and learn about programs starting in the upcoming school year.”

In addition to activities for prospective students and families, alumni and former staff members are invited to reconnect in the Joe Carlisle Marketplace. Guests can browse scrapbooks and yearbooks from years past while enjoying light refreshments.

All attendees can enjoy a complimentary meal and enter a door prize drawing. High school students who apply for the 2026-27 school year during the event will receive a small gift, and adult learners who apply for a full-time adult education program will have their $50 application fee waived.

The event is free and open to the public, and no advance registration is required. Visitors should enter through the main entrance and sign in at the cafeteria.

Buckeye Career Center is located at 545 University Drive NE, New Philadelphia.
