BCC students qualify for state leadership conference
The state competition will be held Feb. 23-24 in Columbus
Several members of the Buckeye Career Center Business Professionals of America chapter qualified for the Ohio BPA Leadership Conference after competing in the Region 8 contest Jan. 9 at Kent State Tuscarawas. The state competition will be held Feb. 23-24 in Columbus.
Buckeye Career Center Business and Marketing students earning bids to state are Edgar Allison of Carrollton, Makhi Vega of Claymont, Eli Watson of Quaker Digital Academy and Carson Miller of Carrollton in Video Production Team; Madeline Ward of Strasburg and Danica Martin of Carrollton in Visual Design Team; Adriana Rorrer of Tusky Valley and Jaxon Jones of Garaway in Personal Finance Management; Scenic Whiddon of Dover in Fundamental Word Processing; and Logan McPeek of Indian Valley and Madison Harmon of Claymont in Intermediate Word Processing.
Computer Technology/Network Systems students who will compete at state are Jackson Rice of Buckeye Career Center and Ryan Woytko of New Philadelphia in Device Configuration and Troubleshooting; Kaiden Pack of Strasburg and Evan Russell of New Philadelphia in Computer Network Technology; Bobbie Brown of New Philadelphia and Isadore Hanlin of Malvern in Server Administration with Microsoft; Caleb Shanklin and Hannah Henry, both of Strasburg, in Network Administration using Cisco; Jaylyn Young of Indian Valley and Carter Fronsman of Newcomerstown in Computer Security; Jaxson Eberhardt of Conotton Valley in Linux Operating Systems Fundamentals; and Kyzer Maynard of Conotton Valley in Python Programming.
