Ridgewood FFA members join agriculture conference
Students attend East Ohio event at OSU/ATI for leadership and networking opportunities
A group of Ridgewood FFA members recently had the opportunity to attend the East Ohio Women in Agriculture Conference, held at Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute. The event brought together young women from across the region to learn, connect and grow as future leaders in agriculture.
Accompanied by adviser Mrs. Davis, the students participated in a variety of breakout sessions focused on agricultural careers, leadership development and current industry topics. Throughout the day attendees engaged with speakers and professionals, gaining insight into the many opportunities available in the field of agriculture.
In addition to the educational sessions, the conference provided time for fellowship and networking, allowing students to connect with peers who share similar interests and goals.
The Ridgewood FFA Chapter expressed appreciation to the Coshocton County Farm Bureau for covering the registration costs for all attending FFA and 4-H members from the county. Their support helped make the experience accessible and impactful for local students.
The trip offered a chance for Ridgewood FFA members to expand their knowledge, build connections and strengthen their passion for agriculture.
