Our Town Coshocton names Hailey Helter as new executive director
Coshocton native and Ashland University graduate steps into leadership role to advance downtown revitalization and community engagement.
Our Town Coshocton announced the appointment of Hailey Helter as the organization’s new executive director. A community member and recent graduate, Helter brings a fresh perspective and a commitment to the continued revitalization of Coshocton’s downtown.
Helter is a graduate of Coshocton High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a minor in political economy, from Ashland University. Throughout her education and early career, she has demonstrated an investment in her hometown through a variety of local roles and initiatives.
Her professional experience includes positions in customer service, retail, marketing and real estate, all within the Coshocton area. Helter also completed multiple internships and mentorships with the Coshocton Port Authority and currently serves as a coach for the girls volleyball team at Coshocton High School.
“Hailey’s background, experience and skill set align perfectly with our needs,” said Tom Barcroft, president of the Our Town Coshocton Board of Directors. “With her leadership and vision, coupled with her love of Coshocton, she will be a tremendous asset — not only to our organization, but to the entire Coshocton community.”
Helter is eager to step into her new role and begin connecting with local business owners and community stakeholders to help shape the future of Coshocton’s downtown.
“I was born and raised in this community and am who I am today because of the people in it,” Helter said. “I cannot think of a better way to give back to the community that built me. I am very excited to take on this role and serve this community as executive director for Our Town Coshocton.”
Helter’s appointment marks a new chapter for Our Town Coshocton, as the organization continues its mission to support downtown development and foster a vibrant, inclusive local economy.
