Genesis HealthCare System to host free senior and family education night Dec. 10
Event at Genesis Hospital will cover community resources, advance care planning, nutrition, insurance and financial topics for older adults and their caregivers.
Genesis HealthCare System will host a free senior/family education night for older adults and their families as they plan for the future. The event will be held Wednesday, Dec. 10 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in Genesis Hospital's meeting rooms A, B, C and D (garden level).
The event will feature speakers who will address topics such as community resources for seniors; dietitian recommendations for restrictive diets; end-of-life decision-making and levels of care; advance directives, living wills and health care powers of attorney; and health insurance and financial planning information.
