Colton Gress leads RVHS at Dover

River View’s varsity boys golf team placed second out of 16 teams at the Dover Invitational. Colton Gress recorded a 75 and tied for medalist.

River View’s varsity boys golf team placed second out of 16 teams at the Dover Invitational. Colton Gress recorded a 75 and tied for medalist. Gavin Gress had a 78, Clark Frischen had an 83, Caleb Kline had an 87 and Ty Woodward had a 123.

The Bears also won a tri-match at Hickory Flats. Gavin Gress and Caleb Gress both shot a 33 and were co-medalists.

On Sept. 2 River View faced Tri-Valley and Philo at Vista View Golf Course. The Black Bears won with a team score of 154.

Individual scores for RVHS were Gavin Gress with 38, Colton Gress with 36, Clark Frischen with 40, Caleb Kline with 40, Ty Woodward with 48 and Kallen Aronhalt with 61.
