CES wraps up annual holiday door decorating contest

Coshocton Elementary School staff and students spread seasonal cheer through creative, collaborative door displays recognized in multiple award categories.

Coshocton Elementary School's early childhood wing was very festive with holiday spirit.

Coshocton Elementary School recently wrapped up its annual holiday door decorating contest, a festive tradition that brought creativity, collaboration and holiday cheer to classrooms throughout the building.

Staff members transformed doors and hallways into displays that showcased originality, teamwork and student involvement.

This year’s contest featured several award categories recognizing outstanding efforts:

—Honorable mention: Ms. Bryant for “A Home Alone Christmas.”

—Neatness Award: Mrs. Snider for “Snow Many Ways To Succeed.”

—Student Work Award: Mrs. Moats for “Merry Moosemas.”

—Curriculum Award: Mrs. Olinger for "A Leader in Me Christmas."

—Originality Award: Mrs. Lewis for “Merry Kiss-mas.”

—Individual Door: Mrs. Paugh for “The Giving Tree.”

—Team Award: Early Childhood/MC Team for “Candy Land.”

The contest highlighted not only artistic creativity, but also the sense of community and school pride shared by staff and students. Hallways were filled with decorations that created a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who entered the building.
