Bice leads Ridgewood girls cross country to win at home meet
Lady Generals secure five of top six spots against Newcomerstown and Indian Valley; boys’ race paced by Jeremy Warne.
Kenzie Bice paced the field for Ridgewood in a home cross country victory over Newcomerstown and Indian Valley.
The Lady Generals took five of the top six places at the finish line.
Bice ran a 21:41 on Ridgewood’s revised home course that started and ended in the renovated Ridgewood Generals Stadium.
Xanya Hasham was second with a time of 24:36, followed by Layla Moore (25:35), Ava Rauh-Hill (26:02) and Maddie Larrison (26:58).
Ridgewood took first with a team score of 16 points. Indian Valley was second (50) and Newcomerstown third (57).
In the boys race, Jeremy Warne ran a 23:38 for the Generals.
