Two indictments returned by Carroll grand jury
Arraignments for those indicted are scheduled for June 18 beginning at 8:30 a.m. before Carroll County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael V. Repella II
Meeting in a half-day session June 3, the Carroll County Grand Jury heard testimony from three witnesses involving three cases. Two indictments were issued, while one case was ignored, according to Carroll County Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Michael J. Roth.
Indictments were returned against the following:
— Susan K. Curtis, 46, of 121 S. Main St., Apt. D, Magnolia, was indicted on one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony.
Roth said that during a Feb. 11, 2026, traffic stop by Carrollton Police, Curtis was found in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine.
— Lorri A. Foster, 59, of 147 Scio Road SE, Carrollton, was indicted on one count of misuse of credit cards, one count of theft from a person in a protected class and one count of theft by deception from a person in a protected class, all second-degree felonies.
According to Roth, Foster was a caregiver for an elderly man when she obtained control of his credit/debit card, misused the card and withdrew more than $37,000 from the man's account in multiple ATM transactions between Feb. 1, 2025, and Feb. 28, 2026.
Arraignments for those indicted are scheduled for June 18 beginning at 8:30 a.m. before Carroll County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael V. Repella II.
