Spaghetti dinner to honor fallen trooper Nicholas Cayton

Nov. 29 benefit at Good Shepherd Hall in Malvern will raise funds to support the Ohio State Highway Patrol officer’s family

A spaghetti dinner benefit will be held Saturday, Nov. 29, from 4-7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Hall, 125 S. Carrollton St., Malvern, to support the family of Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Nicholas P. Cayton.

Cayton, who served with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, died in the line of duty Oct. 16, 2025.

Dinner is $10 per person and $5 for children age 10 and younger. Tickets may be purchased at the door or online at Eventbrite. Donations also will be accepted, with all proceeds and contributions going directly to Trooper Cayton’s family.

Organizers said the event provides an opportunity for the community to honor Cayton’s service and support the loved ones he leaves behind.
