Minerva High to present ‘Legally Blonde The Musical’
Packed with memorable songs, high-energy dance numbers, humor and heart, the production celebrates perseverance, confidence and staying true to yourself
Minerva High School will present “Legally Blonde The Musical” March 19-21 at 7 p.m. in the Minerva High School Auditorium.
"Legally Blonde The Musical" features a book by Heather Hach and music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin. It is based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture. Special arrangements are made by Music Theatre International.
This award-winning musical, based on the movie, follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Elle appears to have it all until her boyfriend, Warner, breaks up with her to attend Harvard Law School. Determined to win him back, Elle earns her way into the prestigious law school, only to discover that her journey is about much more than romance.
While at Harvard, Elle faces challenges from peers, professors and her ex, but with the support of new friends, she quickly realizes her true potential. Packed with memorable songs, high-energy dance numbers, humor and heart, "Legally Blonde The Musical" celebrates perseverance, confidence and staying true to yourself.
The cast features Megan Lynn as Elle Woods, Sam Spielman as Warner, Oliver Spielman as Emmett, David Bryan as Professor Callahan and Tempi Muck as Brooke Wyndham, along with an ensemble bringing the story to life.
Presale tickets are available now for $6 for students and $9 for adults. Tickets purchased at the door will be $12. Presale tickets may be purchased until opening day.
