Carroll County health district partners with mobile clinic for screenings

The Carroll County General Health District announced a partnership with the Central Outreach Wellness Center Mobile Clinic to expand access to health screening services for county residents.
As part of the partnership, the mobile clinic will be on-site at the Carroll County General Health District Jan. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Services will include confidential sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment, including HIV and hepatitis testing and treatment. All insurance plans will be accepted.
“This partnership strengthens our ability to provide accessible, preventive health services to our community,” said Kelly Morris, health commissioner for the Carroll County General Health District. “Early testing and treatment are key to protecting both individuals and public health.”
Services offered include STI testing and treatment, HIV testing and treatment, and hepatitis A, B and C testing. The clinic also will provide confidential, professional care and accept all insurance plans.
