Writers Guild invites writers to monthly meetings
The group meets the first Monday of each month and will gather April 6 this month
The Tuscarawas County Writers Guild extends an open invitation to writers of all ages and experience levels to meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Dover Public Library, 525 N. Walnut St. The group meets the first Monday of each month and will gather April 6 this month.
“Our library has always been very supportive of the local writing community,” said Jim Gill, library director. “Reading and writing complement each other naturally, so we look forward to working with the Writers Guild as we both strive to create a culture of books, literacy and reading in the Tuscarawas Valley.”
At guild meetings, beginning writers may take part in writing drills or other exercises designed to improve their skills. More experienced writers can learn how to prepare for publishing and marketing their work.
For more information, visit the guild’s Facebook page or call the library at 330-343-6123.
