Veteran Appreciation Breakfast & Resource Fair set for Nov. 10 in New Philadelphia

OhioMeansJobs Stark & Tuscarawas Counties will honor veterans, active-duty members and their families with a free hot breakfast and local-benefits expo, 9–11 a.m. at Buckeye Career Center’s Joe Carlisle Café.

The event honors veterans, active-duty service members and their families with a complimentary hot breakfast followed by a resource fair featuring local organizations that provide veteran-focused programs, benefits and services.

OhioMeansJobs Stark & Tuscarawas Counties will host the second annual Veteran Appreciation Breakfast and Resource Fair from 9-11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, at the Joe Carlisle Café inside Buckeye Career Center, 545 University Drive NE, New Philadelphia.

The event honors veterans, active-duty service members and their families with a complimentary hot breakfast followed by a resource fair featuring local organizations that provide veteran-focused programs, benefits and services.

“Last year’s event was truly inspiring,” said DJ Milburn, adult programs coordinator for OhioMeansJobs Stark & Tuscarawas Counties. “It was wonderful to see so many veterans and military families come together, share stories and learn about resources available to them. We’re excited to bring everyone together again this year to continue that spirit of support and gratitude.”

Participating organizations may bring informational materials or small giveaways. Each group will be provided a table and two chairs.
