The Tuscarawas County Economic
Development Corporation, or TuscEDC, has announced the release of a
comprehensive housing study for the Dover–New Philadelphia market. Conducted by
the nationally recognized firm DiSalvo Development Advisors, the study provides
an in-depth analysis of the current housing landscape and identifies future
opportunities within the region.
The findings were presented by Pete
DiSalvo, president of DiSalvo Development Advisors, during a meeting with
community leaders and stakeholders Monday, June 9. The event was hosted at
First Federal Community Bank in Dover.
The study includes a detailed review
of demographic and economic trends, an inventory of existing housing stock, and
projections of future housing needs. The report serves as a vital resource for
developers, builders, investors and municipal leaders working to meet the
housing demands of a growing population.
“Understanding our housing market is
critical to the continued economic growth of Tuscarawas County,” said Marla
Akridge, executive director of TuscEDC. “The insights provided by DiSalvo
Development Advisors will enable us to make data-driven decisions to foster
