Tuscarawas library to host local author for lighthouse tales
Wendy Koile to share eerie Lake Erie and Ohio stories Sept. 23 at Main Library in New Philadelphia; free program requires registration.
The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host local author Wendy Koile for a program titled When the Lights Go Out: Creepy Lighthouse Tales Tuesday, Sept. 23, at 6 p.m. at its Main Library and Operations Center.
“People love true crime and anything mysterious, especially during the spooky season,” said Whitney Lawrence, adult customer services assistant.
Koile, a Tuscarawas County native, is known for her research and writing on Ohio and Lake Erie history, mysteries and crime.
The program is free, but registration is required. To reserve a seat, visit tusclibrary.org or call 330-364-4474. The Main Library and Operations Center is located at 121 Fair Ave. NW in New Philadelphia.
