Tuscarawas County CVB readies 2026 Visitors Guide highlighting nation’s 250th anniversary
Guide will feature Revolutionary War-themed events, including Fort Laurens celebrations and the Buckeye Train, with businesses invited to advertise and submit listings.
The Tuscarawas County Convention and Visitors Bureau is finalizing the 2026 Visitors Guide, which this year will highlight events, activities and information surrounding the 250th anniversary of the nation.
The county is home to Fort Laurens, Ohio’s only Revolutionary War fort, which will host numerous events in celebration of the 250th. Tuscarawas County is also the site of one of the state’s signature anniversary events, the Buckeye Train, which will offer a train ride from Columbus to Dennison April 25–26.
Additional events are being planned, including an art contest for area students, a LEGO contest featuring museums and historic sites, and Revolutionary War reenactments.
For information about advertising a tourism-related business in the guide, or to list an event, call 800-527-3387 or visit traveltusc.com and click the link for the 2026 Visitors Guide.
