Support Dover library levy renewal
Trick-or-treat on the trail brings Halloween fun to Dover City Park Oct. 26
Free family event features candy stops, activities, face painting, crafts and live entertainment in the park
The Dover Community Parks Foundation will host its annual Trick or Treat on the Trail Sunday, Oct. 26, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Dover City Park. The event is free and weather dependent.
In addition to traditional candy stops, families can enjoy popcorn, face painting by the Dover cheerleaders, a fall craft and story walk by the Dover Public Library, a visit with a mad scientist at the Rotary Pavilion, and the Moxie Monster Mash at the amphitheater. Open Sky Coffee will be on site with coffee for sale.
The Dover Community Parks Foundation is a nonprofit that promotes use of the park through stewardship and supports ongoing improvements through fundraising. “We are lucky to have such a nice park in our community with staff and volunteers who are always trying to make it even better,” board member Greg Bair said. New assets include the upcoming completion of four pickleball courts and bocce court improvements in 2026.
