Taste of Tusc returns March 19 at Kent State Tuscarawas

The 14th annual Taste of Tusc will be held Thursday, March 19, at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State University at Tuscarawas.
Organizers said the event will run from 6-8 p.m., with VIP early access beginning at 5:15 p.m. Proceeds will support development and activation of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail and connector trails in Tuscarawas County.
Guests can sample appetizers, entrees and desserts from local restaurants, cafes and food vendors. The event also will feature beer, wine, cocktails and specialty drinks from area breweries, wineries, cafes and beverage distributors, with tastings available using drink tokens. Attendees can vote for the People’s Choice award winners and take home a keepsake tasting glass sponsored by ms consultants. Organizers said raffle prizes will include gifts from across the Ohio & Erie Canalway.
VIP tickets are $55 and are available in limited quantities. VIP admission includes entry at 5:15 p.m., seven drink tasting tokens, two complimentary raffle tickets and a keepsake tasting glass. General admission online presale tickets are $45 and include six drink tasting tokens and a keepsake tasting glass. General admission at the door is $50, if available. Youth ages 6-12 are $10, and children 5 and younger are admitted free.
Participating vendors include Baltic Mill Winery, Dola Jean’s, Gailz Goodiez, Hoodletown Brewing Co., Lockport Brewery, Log Cabin Catering, Miller’s Creamery, Missions Cafe, Our City Coffee, Swiss Heritage Winery, The Pilot Brewhouse and the Tuscarawas County Farm Bureau. Additional vendors will be added as they are confirmed.
