Shannon Grant named 2025 Dispatcher of the Year at New Philadelphia Patrol Post
Coshocton native honored by Ohio State Highway Patrol for excellence in service, teamwork and professionalism
The Ohio State Highway Patrol has named Dispatcher Shannon Grant as the 2025 Dispatcher of the Year for the New Philadelphia Post.
Grant, 43, was selected in recognition of her outstanding service during 2025. Sworn officers and dispatchers from the New Philadelphia and Zanesville posts chose her for the honor based on her technical knowledge, work performance, enthusiasm, teamwork and professionalism in assisting the public.
Grant joined the Highway Patrol in 2012 and has served at the New Philadelphia Dispatch Center since then. A native of Coshocton, she is a 2000 graduate of Coshocton High School and earned a degree in early childhood education from Kent State University at Tuscarawas in 2003.
Grant and her husband, Shane, reside in West Lafayette with their daughter, Scarlett.
She now advances to consideration for the District and State Dispatcher of the Year awards, which will be announced at a later date.
